Regular washing inevitably strips wood of its natural hydration, but applying this rich butter seals out unwanted moisture, prevents drying and splitting, and restores a brilliant satin sheen. It is an essential maintenance tool for items that frequently come into contact with water, such as heavy-duty chopping blocks, salad bowls, rolling pins, and unvarnished wooden utensils.
How to use: Ensure the wooden item is completely clean and dry. Using a soft cloth, rub a small amount of wood butter across all sides of the surface, following the direction of the grain.
